Feel free to share your beauty finds too! :) Welcome to the beauty room.

Last night, i decided to experiment with my hair pastels/chalks. It seems to be a growing trend at the moment. Its simply the act of using chalk or pastels..NOT oil based may i add on your hair…any and all colours to create colour streaks and blends you can change almost daily!

I’ll run you through a step by step “how to”

1- Wet desired piece of hair to colour (select colours)

2-colour in selected piece of hair with colour/s

3-dry, use straighteners/hot irons to hold the colour in and style normally!

Well all i can say is that for someone like me who pretty much likes to change their colour every ten seconds..these are AWESOME. My pack of 32 were from ebay for around £12. If you keep playing with it you will get it all over your hands but once its dry it pretty much stays put until you wash your hair.

I have white bedding and i was worried that i’d wake up to find pink and purple smooshed into it all, and all over my face…but nothing! The only thing i haven’t tested it in is a downpour of rain, which lets face it, in the UK is likely to happen at any moment. I’m literally in love with this non-permanent way you can make your hair individual! The particular brand i bought were just called “masters pastels” there are plenty of other options out there! it’s HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Seriously…pink sparkly nails…need i say more? .. well yes i purchased these at my local Tesco superstore for a lovely sum of £7.10, i did think it was a bit expensive but i did fall in love with them. Just so sparkly! They’re by elegant touch. Word of warning though, they come with sticky pads to stick them on with…DON’T USE IT it’s suitably CRAP. Use nail glue. Luckily i had some already but if not BUY SOME.Its a must with these. They did however last a full week and when the first one pinged off i merely glued it back on with my handy lil’ nail glue i keep in my bag!

Cheap van replicas anyone??? Although i do LOVE my vans these were a lot cheaper, and dare i say a lot more comfortable. They’re so soft inside it’s like wearing slippers.
£18 Next
Only downside i will say is that because they are white…well needless to say they are no longer white!!! le pout!!!

This is my Black to Blonde hair transformation. Took 1 month and a few bleach’s, and yes a Ginger phase but we got their in the end! This is all thanks to my friend Anna!

So here’s a step by step of what we did to achieve my goal. (Note; i had been using Pantene and Head and shoulders cleansing shampoo for a couple of months before to get the dark as light as possible, i even attempted a vitamin C cleanse that i’d seen on youtube)

Week #1

Bleach! Really ginger to start of with, used blue powder bleach and a 6% peroxide, Smoothed on a semi permanent ash blonde and that is what you see in pic 2, (angry face)

Week #2 Been using a white toner by Directions, lightened it quite a lot i may add! makes your hair so soft! for added softness as bleach kills your hair i was also using Aussie 3min miracle repair conditioner… literally EPIC.

Week #3 Bleach again this is the 3rd pic result as after the bleach 12%, which burnt my scalp in places…that was a MISTAKE i must add but was okay in the end and a Wella Koleston Special blonde over the top, the purple tinge is from my toner being left on too long.

Week #4 (Now) I my roots bleached with a low peroxide as i am naturally brown and my sister (a hairdresser) put on a Wella Koleston special blonde 12/89, which is what you can see in this final pic. I haven’t had to use any toner but i do use silverising shampoo and conditioner twice a week that you have to leave on for 5 min each.

I freakin’ love my hair!!!

Rawr!!! Excuse the scary face but this is my “every day” look. This is what i fall back on if i get bored of other looks. I have Garnier Skin Naturals BB cream as my foundation in Light, Rimmel London Exaggerate liquid eye liner in Jet black, MUA Mega volume jet black waterproof mascara (which was a steal from superdrug at £2.99!!!) and Rimmel London Stay Matte pressed powder in Peach Glow. I usually use ivory powder but summer means i start using darker colours as my natural tan progresses. Oh also MUA at Superdrug creme blush in blossom…also really cheap at only £1.00!!!
Also important note, as i was at an in between hair colour’s here, i went from black to blonde in this photo i was still penciling in my eyebrows as i was in the ginger phase! But now (as you will see) my hair is blonde like almost white and i use just some fawn eye shadow to shade in my brows a tad.
With the BB cream i always apply it as a foundation rather then as a moisturizer otherwise you can end up looking like an orange! I always apply a primer and use a foundation brush to apply and pop concealer on under my eyes to cover my dark circles! Voila!!!
